2006年に携わってきた家業の製造業を廃業し、その後の事後処理を行いながら、不動産賃貸業への業態変更を行う。不動産業への一極集中によるリスク回避を目的に事業ポートフォリオの多角化を目指して新規事業開発を企画するが、大幅なリストラクチャリングから社内リソースの大幅な減少を感じ、外部リソースの活用やサポートに事業方向を転換、AS-Accelerator　プロジェクトを開始する。　早稲田大学ビジネススクールではファイナンス及びVC専門の教授に師事し、イノヴェーションを起こすための資金の効率的な分配の必要性を感じ、草の根アントレプレナーに対するエンジェルインヴェストメントを日本の中核である中小企業とのコラボレーションを軸に新たなスキームを提案する。

In 2006, we decided to shutdown our manufacturing plant we operated for over 70 years. It was a transforming step as we decided to evolve with the industry and became a real estate management company. However, concentrating all resources into real estate is risky because of the fluctuating  Macro economic environment. I realized we must diversify our business portfolio, but there are not enough resources to create new business units. Then, we started to manage resources from outside the company. Therefore, the AS-Accelerator project was born. During my MBA, I specialized in both Finance and Venture Capital. Thus, I found out the importance of efficient resource allocation to foster innovation. As the result, I designed a new collaboration model to seed entrepreneurs and promote their cooperation with Japanese SME firms to innovate!
